Doctors & Staff

Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Helton Eye Care a proud provider of vision care products and services in Versailles.

Dr. Cami Helton

Dr. Cami Helton graduated with honors from Northern Kentucky University with a major in Cellular/Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry before earning a doctorate of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2015. Upon graduation, she joined Dr. Black’s Eye Associates of Southern Indiana where she practiced in their Versailles and Madison locations. In June of 2020 Dr. Helton and her husband Kyle purchased the Versailles Eye Associates location and created what is now Helton Eye Care. Dr. Helton practices full-scope optometry, ranging from comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings to the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases such as dry eye, glaucoma and age related macular degeneration. Dr. Helton also provides diabetic eye exams and eye care for pre- and post-operative cataract and vision correction surgery patients. In school she was a student fellow for the American Academy of Optometry and was the IU chapter’s president for the organization for 2013-2014. When Dr. Helton is not seeing patients she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 boys, Finn and Luke, doing CrossFit and traveling.
